To feel empathy one must reflect on the plight of another. In this design I have created many thought bubbles above the gemstone, many efforts of reflecting. May others have empathy for us as well. 
The green stone is inspired by Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky, who asks us to light a green light to show compassion for those who are suffering with the virus or have lost someone to the virus.
