Lavender Veil
A soft wash of lavender-purple drifts across the earthy brown surface of this Australian boulder opal, like a veil of color caught between the stone and the light. Rather than appearing in a single flash, the opal reveals itself across the face of the gemstone, shifting from subtle violet to brighter touches of purple as the ring moves.
The tilted square gives Lavender Veil an appealing sense of imbalance, echoed in the handcrafted sterling silver band. Sweeping strands of silver cross and separate around the finger, with a small silver bead punctuating the movement on one side. The open, airy construction contrasts beautifully with the strong geometry of the stone.
