Overlook carries the maker’s hand from stone to finished ring: both the lapidary work and the silversmithing were done by Rachel Savané in her downtown Lexington, Kentucky studio.
 
Set high above the finger, the stone has the presence of a miniature view from above—earthy forms and shifting boundaries that suggest an aerial landscape without ever becoming quite literal. Its generous height gives the ring drama from every angle, while the clean sterling silver setting lets the agate remain the focus.
The substantial sterling silver band is wide yet exceptionally comfortable, shaped with a low, softly domed convex curve that feels smooth and satisfying on the finger. The simplicity of the band provides a strong architectural foundation for the unusually tall stone.
