Violet Springs
A pool of lavender-violet fire seems to rise from within the rich brown ironstone of this Australian boulder opal. The color feels almost liquid—an unexpected spring of luminous opal held within the earthier tones of its natural host rock.
The sterling silver setting continues that sense of movement. A double band sweeps around the finger, with curled ends on one side that peek out from beneath the bands on the opposite side. Those glimpses of silver curls give the ring a playful asymmetry and make the construction interesting from every angle without competing with the remarkable stone.
