Do you ever love pieces you make so much that you feel like you HAVE to keep them for yourself?

I remember the first piece that I felt I could not put on display because it felt so good on me. It was one of my first Kentucky Agate pieces. A ring. I did not know at the time that Kentucky Agate would become my signature gemstone.

So many of the Kentucky Agate gemstones, and for that matter all of the gemstones, intrigue me. I have learned to integrate self discipline to control my desire to keep them all for myself. I am channeling the feeling of personal desire into the pieces I am creating. If it’s enchanting to me, it’ll be irresistible to others. Sounds simple. Is simple.
